Overview:



Fiber Optic Splicing:

Proficiently splice and terminate fiber optic cables both aerial and underground in accordance with industry standards.

Installation and Maintenance:

Execute precise installation, testing, and maintenance of fiber optic networks to ensure optimal performance.

Troubleshooting:

Identify and resolve technical issues related to fibre optic infrastructure promptly.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct rigorous testing and quality checks to uphold the highest standards of workmanship. Following TOPPS standards without fail.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate documentation of splicing activities, cable routes, and network configurations.

Requirements:



Experience:

Proven experience as a Fiber Optic Splicer, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.

Certifications:

Possession of relevant certifications (e.g., FOA, CFOS, etc.) is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in operating splicing equipment, fusion splicers, and OTDR testing equipment.

Safety Conscious:

Prioritize and adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all splicing activities.

Team Player:

Collaborate effectively with team members and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear documentation and effective collaboration.

Adaptability:

Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work in various environmental conditions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
