We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our dental team with Orthodontic experience. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless patient experience by coordinating treatment plans, managing patient care, and maintaining accurate medical documentation. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage patient treatment plans, ensuring all necessary procedures are scheduled in a timely manner.
Conduct patient assessments and provide thorough explanations of treatment options, including pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize dental software systems such as AkituOne for scheduling and record-keeping.
Assist in the preparation of patients for dental procedures, including four-handed dentistry techniques.
Ensure infection control protocols are followed during all patient interactions and treatments.
Provide support during dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other surgical procedures as needed.
Educate patients on post-treatment care and follow-up appointments to ensure optimal recovery and satisfaction.
Experience
Previous experience in an Orthodontic dental clinic is required, with familiarity in pediatric dentistry, Ortho treatment and Invisalign is preferred.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and aseptic techniques is essential.
Experience with medical imaging and dental fabrication processes is a plus.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail in patient care.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional patient service and support throughout the treatment process.
