We are currently seeking an Orthodontic Dental Hygienist to join our growing, dynamic team to fill an upcoming vacancy.

This is a part-time, 12 - month contract position for Tuesdays only (8:00 am-5:00 pm & once a month 2:30 pm- 7:30 pm). There is potential for this role to become permanent, with additional days in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

Bonding brackets and orthodontic appliances Removal of brackets and orthodontic appliances Remove bonding adhesive with a high-speed handpiece Placing and removing arch wires Delivery of Invisalign and placement/removal of Invisalign attachments Taking impressions for orthodontic appliances Chart procedures Provide oral health education, appliance, and elastic instructions to our patients and families Managing the patient experience through exceptional customer service skills and informing patients/parents on treatment progress Ability to perform other duties as required for the efficient operation of the practice

What you'll need to succeed:

Successful completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Hygiene Degree program in Ontario Registered with the CDHO and in good standing Previous orthodontic experience is stronglypreferred A learning and growth mindset - always looking for ways to improve and set up your game!
