ORE HAUL SUPERVISOR

Timmins, Ontario

Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available

$34.00 - $36.00 per hour

TBell Transport is currently hiring an experienced Ore Haul Supervisor to join our team in Timmins, ON. If you're a skilled leader with a background in crew management, we'd like to hear from you. As the Ore Haul Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading a team of drivers and operators in our mining and ore haul operations. You will be responsible for setting performance goals, managing workflow, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining our high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise shift activities in an ore haul/mine environment. Manage and support a crew of drivers, making prompt and effective decisions. Establish goals and deadlines aligned with company objectives. Monitor employee productivity and provide feedback and coaching. Ensure all tasks are delegated clearly and efficiently. Uphold company Health & Safety and Operational standards. Conduct daily toolbox talks and hazard assessments. Perform monthly audits on drivers, trucks, and equipment. Oversee multiple projects and shop work, delegating tasks accordingly. Maintain knowledge of OHSA, WSIB, and Ministry of Transportation regulations.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Post-secondary education. First Line Supervisor Common Core or equivalent competency certification. Health and Safety 5-step certificate. WHMIS and First Aid Certification. MCTU Supervisor certification or equivalent. 2-3 years of supervisory or operations experience (preferred). Valid driver's license with a clean abstract. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. General mechanical knowledge and technical aptitude. Ability to make sound decisions quickly under pressure. Computer proficiency is considered an asset. Professional, tactful, and diplomatic in team and client interactions. AZ Licence is an asset
