Summary:

As an Orders Specialist, your dedication to nurturing exceptional customer experiences is key to our brand. The care you place to ensure every order is processed and shipped promptly and accurately helps to set us apart.
Responsibilities:
Process orders and communicate order status to customers.
Generate all paperwork required to process and ship an order.
Respond to customer order and shipping status inquiries, using professional language that is clear and concise.
Maintain a constant focus on customer satisfaction.
Be responsive to the needs of internal and external customers. Expectation is that customer requests are responded to within a business day.
Troubleshoot and resolve stuck shipments.
Respond to messages in the shared shipping email, and maintain a low number of unresolved messages.
Ensure records are accurate and timely.
Contribute to improving order processing and shipping effectiveness, and other improvement opportunities.
Communicate procedure discrepancies to your Supervisor.
Assist team members with training, troubleshooting, and meeting weekly goals.
Can distinguish symptoms from root cause.
Be proactive in raising any health and safety concerns and and assist with resolution.
Hold yourself and others accountable for adhering to safe work practices.
Promotes AML's culture and support team members.
Cross train and backup other positions needed.
Maintain a Lithium batteries TDG certificate.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
A certificate related to logistics or business administration is preferred.
Experience with import/export documentation, regulations, trade agreements, and commercial invoices is an asset.
Customer facing experience is an asset.
Meticulous with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Can use a computer effectively and interact with various software programs.
Experience with ERP systems is an asset.
Good emotional intelligence
Can communicate effectively in a clear, concise, and professional manner; both written and verbal.
Ability to troubleshoot issues.
Aptitude for process improvement, and can distinguish what adds value.
Can visualize steps and sequencing.
Embraces change with excitement and passion.
