Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Order Taker to join our team in a dynamic food service environment. Duties

Greet customers promptly and courteously, creating a welcoming atmosphere Take accurate food and beverage orders via phone or in-person, ensuring clear communication Enter orders into the POS system efficiently and accurately Provide menu recommendations and answer customer questions about food options Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders Handle customer inquiries or concerns professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels Assist with food preparation or serving as needed to support team operations Follow all food safety and handling protocols to ensure compliance with health standards Maintain cleanliness of the order area and dining space

Qualifications

Previous experience in restaurant, food service, or hospitality industries preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Knowledge of food industry practices, including food handling and safety standards Experience as a barista or in serving roles is a plus Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic knowledge of food preparation and menu items preferred High school diploma or equivalent required
