Order Picker

Springhill Lumber (Wholesale) Ltd. is looking for an

Order Picker

for immediate hire. This position is from Monday to Friday with some overtime as required.

The successful candidate will receive full company paid benefits after 90-days.

Rate of Pay

: Depending on Experience

Duties & Responsibilities:

Ensure orders are loaded, unloaded and accurately filled, counted and secured following all safe work requirements; Completes paperwork accordingly - tallies product changes as needed; Maintains a clean and orderly yard and warehouse as directed; Be professional, courteous, and punctual with a focus on customer service; Other duties as required.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Ability to do physical labour including lifting, carrying (over 50 Lbs.), bending repeatedly on a daily basis; Ability to work outside year-round; Forklift Licence desired (but not required) - In house training/testing provided; Fluent in English (spoken and written) with excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to perform at a high level in a fast paced, demanding working environment. Experience and knowledge in this or a related industry is an asset. Reliable vehicle is required, as this is a non-bus route.

Working Conditions:

Exposure to dust and extreme changes in temperature and weather when working outside year around. Safety boots and safety equipment are required; Busy, high-volume environment.
