Join our dynamic team as an Order Picker, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of products within our warehouse. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, utilizing various equipment and technologies to enhance productivity. Your expertise in materials handling and heavy equipment operation will be key to maintaining our high standards of service and safety.

What you'll do

Efficiently pick and prepare orders for shipping, ensuring accuracy and quality. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks to load and unload materials safely. Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and manage order picking processes. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and address any operational challenges. Adhere to OSHA regulations and safety protocols while performing heavy lifting tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Assist in shipping & receiving activities, ensuring timely processing of inbound and outbound shipments. Contribute to inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.

Basic qualifications

Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar roles. Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking orders. Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation is preferred.

Preferred qualifications

Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar capacity within a warehouse setting. Certification in operating forklifts or other heavy machinery is a plus. Background in construction or related fields is advantageous.
