Summerhill Market is looking for an Order Picker, Personal Shopper to join the Ecommerce team at our Rosedale location. Duties & Responsibilities: The primary role of the E-commerce Associate is to provide assistance with picking and packing customer orders for home delivery, while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate for this role loves food as much as we do, is obsessed with customer happiness, and feels passionate about joining a team where it is \xe2\x80\x98all hands-on deck\xe2\x80\x99 to build out our ecommerce processes and online platform.

• Picking and assembling orders from various temperature areas with great care and quality in mind to achieve \xe2\x80\x9con time\xe2\x80\x9d delivery to customers
• Packing orders with attention to detail including distinguishing between similar named products, exact quantity, correct product codes etc.
• Offering exceptional customer service in-person, over the phone and via email correspondence; advising customer on alternate product solutions or wait times, if orders are unable to be fulfilled due to a lack of product availability

• Ensuring products selected to fulfill online orders are of the highest quality i.e., no damaged products, freshest product selection etc.
• Documenting and labeling all orders correctly with packaging details, shipping labels, etc.
• Assisting with maintaining our company website; editing and posting information on new products such as: product descriptions, pricing and promotions, including seasonal items (This task encompasses 10% of the role)
• Supporting order intake; collaborating with our commissary kitchen team to advise on catered items required for completing customer orders
• Maintaining cleanliness of your work area
• Being a team player and helping your team members as needed
• Adhering to all company policies, procedures and practices including signing, pricing, and loss prevention

• Being an effective and positive communicator \xe2\x80\x93 having great listening skills patience and knowing how to de-escalate challenging situations
• Leading by example and being an effective team player
• Experience with ecommerce, personal shopping, order picking, handling cash, and operating a register/POS (Point of Sale System) is an asset
• Previous grocery or food industry experience along with a Food Safety Handlers Certification is required
• Self-starter, organized, accurate and takes initiative
• Flexible availability to work morning, evening and weekend shifts with the ability to accommodate various shift coverage on short notice
• Tech savvy; proficient in MS Office, Google Suite with the ability to learn new systems quickly
• Able to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less
• High school diploma or equivalent with the completion of post-secondary studies preferred
