Overview:

The Order Picker is responsible for picking products for outgoing shipment.

Responsibilities:

Picking and verifying parts against packing slips to ensure order accuracy. Prioritizing picking tasks based on customer ship dates and courier or freight pickup schedules. Reviewing order number lists to confirm any outstanding shipments. Using Kinetic ERP to check inventory, generate packing slips, print labels and transfer parts. Operating forklift to move skids and load trucks. General housekeeping of picking and shipping areas. Completing associated paperwork and documents accurately. Assist with shipping and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

:

Minimum 1 year experience in an order picker or similar role. Experience working in a manufacturing environment is an asset. Fall Protection and Forklift certifications (training is provided). Ability to use operate forklift, parts picker, and electric pallet jack. Basic math and computer skills. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

Drug and Alcohol Testing:

CVS Controls is committed to maintaining a safe and drug free work environment. Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is a mandatory requirement for all prospective employees.

Fitness-to-Work Testing:

A pre-employment fitness evaluation will be required for positions involving physical tasks.

All testing procedures will be conducted by a third party in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, test results will be shared internally on a need-to-know basis only.

Wage

: $20.00-$25.00 per hour, increases based off skills and experience.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, from 8AM to 5PM. This position is full-time and permanent. Some overtime is required.
