Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment, utilizing various warehouse equipment and systems. This role is essential to ensure efficient order fulfillment, maintain safety standards, and support overall warehouse operations. Prior experience in warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, or shipping & receiving is highly desirable.

Duties

Select and pick customer orders accurately using warehouse management systems and order picking tools Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and cranes to load, unload, and move inventory within the warehouse Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Maintain organization of stock locations and ensure proper storage of goods Assist with shipping & receiving processes, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment and report any maintenance needs Support warehouse management in inventory control and cycle counting activities Follow safety guidelines during all operations to prevent accidents or injuries

Skills

Proven experience in warehouse distribution or warehouse management system operation Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks Strong ability in order picking with attention to detail for accuracy Experience with shipping & receiving procedures and inventory management Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy machinery safely Knowledge of construction or industrial environments is a plus Excellent organizational skills with the ability to load & unload efficiently Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$45.00 per hour
