Job Description

The Order Picker/Fulfilment Specialist plays an important role on our manufacturing team where collaboration and innovation are a big part of our collective success. The main responsibilities include retrieving orders and preparing products for shipment, packaging products, monitoring shipping deadlines and administrative duties including preparing shipping documentation.

Responsibilities:

Packaging products for shipping while adhering to standard instructions

Prepare bills of lading for shipments

Monitor daily shipping deadlines and manage workflow accordingly

Administer order shipments in software program

Retrieving and handling packaging supplies

Complete shipping documentation neatly and accurately

Adhere to all safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment is required

Proven experience in an order picking or fulfilment role a must

Thrives in a team work environment also works well with other teams

Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment

Strong attention to detail

Experience working in a computerized environment (MS Office)

Proven capability to learn new systems quickly

Have initiative to be productive and self-motivated

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Effective communication skills

Capable of lifting boxes or materials up to 45 pounds when needed

Comfortable standing for long periods and working with ladders

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.77 per hour
