Description :
The picking and packing clerk is responsible for performing various tasks related to the picking, packing and shipping operations of different types of products (generic, OTC, narcotics, controlled drugs, refrigerated products, marketing and export products). He/she must meet superior quality standards to meet the high standards of the pharmaceutical field.
Salary starting at 23,35$/h + evening allowance of 1$/h
Responsabilities & duties :
- Carries out the picking of products according to the customer\'s order
- Checks the accuracy of the products in comparison to the order and makes the corrections if required
- Packs the products according to the specific criterias of the products and the customers
- Loads trucks and ships merchandise via the various shipping systems used
- Performs required IT transactions and completes all necessary paperwork
- Participates in daily cycle counts as required
- Maintains an organized, clean and safe work environment
- Complies with safety standards and wears safety elements required for warehouse work
- May be requested to provide support to another sector in the warehouse depending on operational needs
- Demonstrated ability to drive lift trucks (mandatory)
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Experience with radio-frequency technology
- Knowledge of SAP/JDE (an asset)
- Speaks French and English fluently
- Basic reading (French) and mathematic skills
- Flexible on work hours
- Willing to work overtime
Experience : 0 years: R-Pick accreditation by Health Canada to handle narcotics and controlled substances (an asset)
2 years: A minimum of 2 years experience in a distribution center
