What You\'ll Do

The Order Management team manages systems, processes and projects related to CTR store orders, Party City, Part Source, and our International businesses. There are currently several projects and development initiatives that involve the Order Management department. The Project and Development Lead will lead these projects from a business perspective and will also work on other cross-functional Supply Chain related projects. The Project and Development Lead will work in partnership with stakeholders from several groups such as IT, Vendors, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Store Support, and Dealers to plan, analyze, design, build, test and deliver each project phase. Project scope will include people, processes and technology improvements for CTC that add business value and are sustainable.

Work on a variety of small to large sized cross-functional projects and development initiatives. These projects will primarily be in support of Order Management objectives but can span other areas of CTC as well

Develop business data flows in tools such as Knime and MS Access

Assess requirements, gather information, communicate with the various stakeholders, and facilitate meetings

Perform the bulk of the analysis, design, test scenarios, testing and leading change management.

Establish project charters and work plans, and define deliverables for projects

Work closely with internal stakeholders to challenge the status quo and implement improvements to Supply Chain processes to improve productivity and reduce cost

Lead the preparation and presentation of cost-benefit analysis to support priority setting and budgeting

Manage multiple projects and provide regular updates to all key stakeholders

Identify cross-functional issues and lead issue resolution

What You Bring

University degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science

Over 4 years of supply chain, logistics or manufacturing experience, including knowledge of supply chain processes

Development experience using Knime and MS Access

Well-developed analytical skills and proactive problem-solving skills

Comfort in dealing with individuals at all levels of the organization

Strong written and spoken communication skills

Ability to negotiate and implement change

Ability to model processes and to determine financial implications of alternatives

Proven organization and planning skills

Familiarity with CTC Distribution, Transportation, Logistics and Merchandising policies, procedures and systems

Project management skills and experience would be an asset
