Role Responsibilities
Responsible for all day-to-day sales order entry related activities, including validating customer information, orders, and purchase order details.
Ensure that customer satisfaction is maintained and exceeded throughout all stages of the sales process
Identify and report opportunities to continuously improve the experience of Peak customers.
Follow-up on order issues and communicate clearly with the other members of the sales team.
Set up new accounts for retailers.
Work with retail accounts to build in-store/online promotions (to be approved by your manager).
Communicate any ongoing specials or promotions to assigned accounts.
Answer all communication from accounts (phone, email, etc) within 24 hours in a professional manner.
Assist in all regional trade shows, regional sales meetings.
Communicate information for appropriate departments and management regarding competitive products, changes in accounts, and territory status in an expedient manner.
Understand customer needs & requirements.
Present new products to retailers.
Attend promotional and grand openings to help educate customer and employees of Peak products (localized accounts)
Maximize market share and achieve forecasted sales targets.
Support other functions as assigned
Position Requirements:
Knowledge or experience with sports nutrition
Accurate and efficient data entry skills. Attention to detail is imperative
Comfortable in an ever-changing, start-up-like atmosphere
Prior experience in retail and/or customer service considered an asset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical ability coupled with creative problem-solving skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Excellent organizational skills to prioritize workload
Ability to learn and adapt to new technology
Team Player with the ability to multitask
Prior experience with NetSuite is an asset
Inside sales experience is not required but an asset
