Role: Oracle Order Service Management Lead Location: Canada Toronto , OntarioResponsibilities:
Collaborate with project managers, business primes, business systems analysts (BSAs), and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and refine the project plan.
Deliver detailed estimates for application change requests.
Produce High-Level Design (HLD) documents, Detailed Design Documents (DDD), and other project-related documentation.
Develop agile user stories, assign story points, and engage in continuous backlog refinement.
Lead system integration testing, enhance performance tuning, and optimize both Out of the Box (OOTB) and custom applications.
Provide guidance and mentorship to other developers on best coding and design practices.
Review the QA test plan, test cases, provide support during QA testing, and address any defects identified.
Core Skills:
A graduate degree in computer science or a related field.
Over 10 years of software development experience in the telecommunications (BSS/OSS) sector or a related domain.
At least 5 years of experience with Oracle OSM, ASAP, and UIM development, including expert knowledge of XQuery and XPath.
A decade of programming expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, JNDI, JMS, SQL, Oracle WebLogic, Apache, RESTful web services, and SOAP.
Proven experience with code reviews, object-oriented design, design patterns, and unit testing spanning more than 10 years.
A minimum of 3 years working in Agile development environments.
Proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PL/SQL) and an understanding of NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB).
Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and Azure cloud services.
