We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Optometrist to join our team on a part-time basis.

Position Overview:

As a full-time Optometrist at A to Z Optical, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding eye health services and personalized care to our valued customers. Your expertise will contribute to the growth of our practice and enhance the overall customer experience. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a dedicated team of optical professionals in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive eye examinations, including visual acuity, refraction, binocular vision assessment, and ocular health evaluation. Diagnose and treat various eye conditions, refractive errors, and vision impairments. Prescribe corrective eyewear and recommend appropriate lens enhancements based on individual needs. Educate patients about proper eye care practices, lens maintenance, and general eye health. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in accordance with industry standards and regulations. Collaborate effectively with the optical team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care and eyewear dispensing. Stay informed about the latest advancements in optometry and eyewear technology.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program. Valid optometry license to practice in the province of Manitoba. Strong clinical skills and ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of ocular conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and team members. Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. Familiarity with modern optometric equipment and diagnostic tools. Willingness to work collaboratively within a team-based environment.
