Doctors EyeCare Wetaskiwin
is a dynamic, fast paced, family oriented, established and still growing, private optometry practice with patient-centered health care, providing comprehensive eye exams, emergency eye care, dry eye treatments, contact lenses, and boutique eyewear.
We are looking for an individual who enjoys helping others, wants to work in an independent setting and positive team environment. New Grads are welcomed and encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages.
Prescribe corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses.
Diagnose and treat common eye conditions and diseases, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and dry eye.
Co-manage patients undergoing refractive or cataract surgery.
Educate patients on eye health and vision correction options.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Work closely with clinic staff to ensure the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Stay current on the latest advancements in optometry and incorporate new techniques and technologies into practice.
Collaborate with other professionals
Requirements:
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school.
Active provincial licensure to practice optometry in Alberta.
Be a citizen of permanent resident of Canada
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
