Hello Toronto Optometrists!
EyeQ Vision is an independent boutique optical in the beautiful Junction neighborhood in Toronto. We opened our doors in 2018 and have quickly gained a strong and loyal patient base by providing the highest quality eye care services, eyewear brands, and fashion advice.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for an optometrist to join our current team of 2 optometrists, 2 opticians, and 2 assistants. We are looking for someone who is caring, personable, passionate about patient care, and who possesses excellent communication skills.
Currently, we need someone who would be available on Tuesday 10-6pm, and alternate Friday..with the goal of eventually adding on more days. We would also appreciate if the successful candidate could help to cover for our other optometrists when they need time off.
Our patient base is mostly working age adults (~80), mixed in with some children and seniors (~20%). You can practice at your own pace, and our highly trained staff do all your pre-testing for you, including auto-refractor, lensometry, OHIP verification, etc.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications: MUST BE LICENSED BY ONTARIO COLLEGE OF OPTOMETRISTS - Strong patient care skills - Proficiency in medical terminology - Experience in optical settings, especially with pediatric patients - Familiarity with Epic software - Ability to work with senior patients and provide exceptional sales support - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues
