Optometrist

to join our team and establish their own practice within our new optical store.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Optometrist who values clinical independence and wants to build a thriving practice supported by an experienced optical team.

Position Overview:

As the Optometrist at The A&J Optical - Arthur, you will have full autonomy to practice optometry in a manner that reflects your professional values and patient care philosophy. You will benefit from a newly constructed, fully equipped exam space and an on-site optical dispensary staffed by knowledgeable professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive eye exams and ocular health assessments Diagnose and manage ocular conditions and diseases Prescribe corrective lenses and contact lenses Collaborate with the optical team to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction Build and maintain strong patient relationships within the community

Qualifications:

Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree Licensed to practice in Ontario (or eligibility for licensure) Excellent clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills Strong commitment to patient-centred care Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in developing a sustainable, independent practice
