Overview

We are seeking an optometrist that wants to be happy at work and happy when on vacation/time off! We supply all the greatest in equipment, staff and support. Work with a collegue in a great setting. We hope to find either a casual/part time associate, we have a flexible schedule to book you any day(s) of the week! Remuneration depends on what you are comfortable with WRT seeing patients but easily can do 1K (take home) per day if desired. We have ZEISS ULTRAWIDE FIELD RETINAL PHOTOGRAPHY, ZEISS OCT, REICHERT VRX, REICHERT TONOVERA, DIGITAL SLIT LAMP CAMERA, MEIBOGRAPHY, ILUX, and MORE!

Duties

Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess visual acuity and diagnose eye conditions. Prescribe glasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids based on patient needs. Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries. Educate patients on proper eye care and treatment options. Maintain accurate patient records using Epic or similar electronic health record systems. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on advancements in optometry practices and technologies. Non dispensing, no headache optometry.

Qualifications

Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state license to practice optometry. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to eye care. Experience in pediatrics or senior care is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Ability to work effectively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities. Previous experience in optical sales is an advantage.

Pay: $50,514.73-$250,000.00 per year
