About the Role:

We are seeking a highly passionate and skilled Optometrist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As an Optometrist at CARE INC, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive eye care services to our patients. Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or a new graduate, we welcome you to be part of our mission to improve vision health and enhance lives.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough eye examinations, including visual acuity, refraction, and ocular health assessments Diagnose and manage eye conditions such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia Prescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses, and other visual aids Detect and manage eye diseases, including glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy Collaborate with our team of opticians, technicians, and administrative staff Educate patients on proper eye health, hygiene, and preventive measures

Requirements:

Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree or equivalent Current license as a practicing optometrist in the province of Alberta Experience in eye exams, diagnosis, and management of ocular diseases Proficiency in prescribing eyewear and/or contact lenses Excellent patient communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and software necessary for proper eye exams

Pay: $120,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
