Eyes On Georgina is looking for an energetic, outgoing, stylish and friendly individual to join our team as an Optometric Assistant/Receptionist.

We provide routine eye exams, dry eye treatments and contact lenses, along with a full-service optical with a curated frame selection. Previous optical/optometry experience is highly recommended but training available for the right candidate.

JOB DESCRIPTION...

Responsibilities for the role include the following but not limited to:

provide excellent customer service and patient care
general office duties
answering phones and booking appointments
pre-testing, retinal imaging, contact lenses
able to follow through on tasks consistently and independently
ability to learn new software
assist patients with frame selection, styling, fitting, lens selection and measurements
dispense, adjust and repair eyewear
ophthalmology/specialist referrals - scan, upload, track
billing insurance companies
daily record keeping
financial Duties; A/R, Cash, Debit, Credit Payments
merchandise dispensary and maintain cleaning procedures and standards
housekeeping keeping duties (this is our home - let's keep in neat and tidy and clean!)
answer and maintain website inquiries for scheduling appointments and checking on orders, etc.
We work hard and are constantly learning and find time for team fun and growing our office culture.

This position requires candidates to be available Monday-Saturday (see office hours). Experience is an asset, but we are absolutely willing to train you if you possess the passion, determination, and awesome personality that we're looking for!

Compensation begins from $17.50hr++ depending on experience.
