Eyes on Bridgwater is a growing clinic, 8 years in operation, offering a modern and patient-focused environment. We provide cutting-edge diagnostic technology and personalized care to a rapidly expanding community. Located in Southwest Winnipeg, we offer free parking and an excellent work-life balance.
Responsibilities
Assist customers in selecting eyewear that meets their needs and preferences.
Accurately measue and fit eyeglasses
Adjust and repair eyewear
Conduct fittings and adjustments of eyeglasses to ensure proper fit and comfort.
Educate patients on lens options, frame styles, and proper eyewear care.
Process orders for prescription eyewear and manage inventory levels.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the optical display area.
Stay updated on the latest trends in eyewear and optical technology.
Utilize optical software systems for patient management and record keeping.
Edge lenses in finishing lab
Support the front desk with appointment bookings, reminders adn patient communications
Assist in Inventory management and ordering of frames and lenses
Medical testing
Contact lens training and dispensing
Qualifications
Previous experience in retail management or sales, preferably within the optical field.
Strong knowledge of optical products, including lenses, frames, and contact lenses.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to vision care is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience in laboratory settings is beneficial but not required.
