Licensed Optician

Your Responsibilities Will Include: Leadership & Clinic Management
Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high customer satisfaction.
Lead, train, and support staff in optical sales, product knowledge, and customer service.
Maintain brand standards across all patient interactions and store processes.
Assist with scheduling, performance reviews, and maintaining a positive team culture.
Optical Dispensing & Patient Care
Greet patients and provide expert guidance in selecting frames and lenses tailored to their prescription and lifestyle needs.
Verify prescriptions, interpret doctor recommendations, and educate patients on lens technologies in a clear, simple, and effective manner.
Perform adjustments, fittings, repairs, and troubleshoot any visual issues with completed eyewear.
Sales Order & Insurance Management
Prepare accurate quotes and create detailed sales orders in our system.
Collect insurance information, process claims using Chrome, and file documentation accurately.
Oversee accounts receivable related to insurance submissions and follow up as necessary.
Monitor supplier orders, manage timelines, and ensure each stage of production is completed on time.
Operational Workflow
Notify patients when eyewear is ready, ensuring all pre-pick-up tasks are complete and eyewear is quality-checked.
Answer phone calls, book eye exams, and support front-desk operations as needed.
Maintain high standards of clinic organization, cleanliness, and efficiency.
