We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Optical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in pretesting and front desk customer service while providing excellent customer service in a medical / retail environment. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills to effectively assist customers with their optical needs who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoys staying organized and focused amid a busy workload.
Training will be provided.
Responsibilities
Front Desk reception, Insurance billings, Recalls, etc.
Perform Pre Testing on various Optical Equipment
Maintain an organized environment, adhering to cleanliness and safety protocols.
Collaborate with optometrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Utilize optical equipment effectively while troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Keep accurate records of customer orders, prescriptions, and inventory levels.
Requirements
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
A passion for sales and providing exceptional customer service.
Flexible Weekday Hours and Saturdays.
