Our team is looking to add an awesome, energetic, and outgoing individual to be our new optical assistant/optician. This individual will be a quick learner, who displays attention to detail, and an ability to work and communicate effectively within a team environment.
Experience in an optical or optometry clinic is required, along with knowledge of optical products and terminology.
Compensation will vary greatly based on experience, education, and licensing or qualifications.
Responsibilities include:
Assist customers with selecting frames and/or other optical products.
Take necessary measurements and arrange for the production of eyeglasses.
Advise customers on eyeglasses selection and educate them on different products and various technologies available.
Maintaining inventory and process sales transactions.
Adjusting/repairing frames.

Experience:
Optical sales or optometry clinic: 1 year (preferred)

This is a part-time position to start, with the potential to become full-time in the future if desired.

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week
