TRACK MAINTAINERS, OPERATORS, MECHANICS, ETC. --ANTICIPATED START DATE APRIL/MAY 2022

Eastern Maine Railway and Maine Northern Railway are sectors under NB Southern Railway. They are the only railways with direct connections from the Canadian Atlantic Provinces to the U.S. Northeast markets. Well established alliances with a far-reaching network of rail and truck carriers, provides you with easy, cost-efficient access to all North America.

We are looking for temporary skilled labourers, experienced operators, mechanics and licensed CDL drivers to join our Eastern Maine Railway and Maine Northern Railway, Rail Services team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining & replacing track
• General labor work as required
• High commitment to safe working procedures
• Must be able to perform physical work outdoors
• Must be flexible with working hours and location
• Must be able to travel for projects

Education Requirements/Knowledge & Skills :

• Mechanical and/or welding experience is an asset
• High School diploma (or GED)
• Should be mechanically inclined, self-motivated and possess a high commitment to safe working practices and quality work
