Ophthalmic Technician - Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a Full-Time Ophthalmic Technician to join our growing team. This role is essential in supporting our ophthalmologists and ensuring patients receive the highest quality of care. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and dedicated to creating a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic testing, including OCT and visual field exams Complete patient intake, including medical and ocular history Measure visual acuity and intraocular pressure Administer ophthalmic drops for dilation as directed Support clinical staff with additional duties to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications

Prior ophthalmic experience required Experience with Accuro EMR and Heidelberg Forum preferred Certification as an Ophthalmic Assistant or Technician is an asset, but not mandatory Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow clinical protocols precisely Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
