Ophthalmic Technician
Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist ophthalmologists in providing eye care services to patients. This role requires a strong background in patient care and medical office procedures.
Duties:
- Primarily conduct visual fields test
- Perform diagnostic tests such as visual acuity, OCT, IOL Master and tonometry
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical records (EMR)
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure all equipment is sterilized and ready for use
- Support ophthalmologists during procedures and examinations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Ophthalmology
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Background in optical or retail sales is beneficial
