Ophthalmic Assistant

Vancouver, BC, CA, Canada

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our busy specialist eye care clinic as a full-time team member. This role is integral to ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and supporting the daily operations of a fast-paced medical practice.

Responsibilities include greeting and assisting patients at reception, operating diagnostic devices, collecting and recording medical information, and providing counselling for ophthalmology consultations. While previous experience in eye care or a medical office setting is considered an asset, it is not required; we value a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn above all else. Comprehensive on-site training will be provided to the successful candidate.

The ideal applicant will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, and a commitment to patient-centered service. This position offers opportunities for ongoing training and professional development, as well as a competitive salary that will be commensurate with experience.

Applicants are asked to indicate their desired salary when submitting their application. We thank all candidates for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
