The Press operator works under the authority of the production supervisor at Multi-Action. The new team member must be able to operate a press for the production of orders. The successful candidate must have a mechanical mind and a good attention to detail in his work.

Skill Requirements:

Receive and review customer specifications as per the job ticket and ensure components and material meet customers' requirements before proceeding to run the job. Complete make ready in accordance with the job ticket and product specifications to ensure correct print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and aniloxes are utilized. Set and maintain print registration, color matching, varnishes, and coatings. Responsible for completing all required quality checks related to product specifications, visual, and functional checks. Maintain consistent quality during the production run to include copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion while maximizing press speeds without compromise to quality. Quality conscientious is a must. Self motivated, quality conscientious, team player is a must. Communicate issues with appropriate personnel in a timely manner so as not to delay on-time delivery to the customer Communicates with various shifts and relays accurate, detailed information regarding the status of various jobs in progress Must have the ability to think through the mechanical aspects of press operations, problem solving and decision making. Work closely with teams/departments to create an environment that supports workflow and continuous improvements of all press room operations. Work safely, abide by and promote established safety policies and procedures. Identify any unsafe conditions. Maintain equipment in a safe, clean and tidy state Ability to work overtime as required Self-motivated, punctual, consistent, productive as well as efficient
