About the Job

Today, we have an opening for a Maintenance Operator at our Halifax Biosolids plant.


Our philosophy to biosolids management is simple - complete the cycle. We recover the valuable resources contained in this "waste" and return them to the earth where they belong.

What You'll Be Doing

Compliance monitoring; Daily data entry; Operate and maintain process equipment; Ensure all regular/preventative maintenance is performed and documented; Maintain inventory of tools, replacement parts and supplies; Document daily processing parameters; Maintain plant cleanliness and organization.

Here's What You Need

Grade 12 graduate with some post-secondary training preferred. Post-secondary students in engineering/technology, skilled trades, environmental science or other related fields will also be considered. Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Have a mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot process and equipment issues. Familiarity with analytical sampling methods for environmental compliance monitoring.
