A person who is self-motivated and willing to learn. Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to change are key. Having the ability to interact with the team and work as a group to accomplish the weekly tasks. The team, Custody Tax \xe2\x80\x93 team, is based in the Toronto office

The team you will be joining is a part of State Street Global Services (SSGS). SSGS gives asset owners and managers access to the essential financial tools they need to deliver effective investment solutions. From core custody, accounting, fund administration and shareholder recordkeeping, to complete operations solutions and servicing for alternative assets like OTC derivatives, private equity and real estate, SSGS\xe2\x80\x99 tools help our clients make better investment choices and act on growth opportunities.

What you will be responsible for

As an Associate I you will

  • Support tax documentation collection to facilitate tax reclaim processing.
  • Review tax documentation for accuracy
  • Communicate information via email and phone to impacted clients
  • Work within team structure to process reclaims across all international markets

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • BA or work experience equivalent
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access)
