Operations Support
Job Description
In this role you will provide full time operational support including material handling, machine operations and general labour. This is the entry level position for employees who would like to progress to operator positions on our tissue machines. Irving Tissue operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week and this position would require 12-hour day and night shifts on a rotating basis.
Operation of production equipment
Clean-up duties
Material Handling
General Labour
Operating a Fork truck
Overhead crane operation
A completed 2 year post-secondary program (minimum).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
A strong work ethic, positive attitude and ability to work with little supervision.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Previous work experience in Pulp & Paper or another industrial environment would be considered an asset.
