$80,000 - $85,000
The Opportunity:
The Operations Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Cloverdale, BC branch. This leadership role requires a committed individual who will take ownership of the branch's operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and customer-focused service delivery. The Operations Supervisor will manage a team of fuel drivers and dispatchers, ensuring smooth fuel deliveries, inventory control, and regulatory compliance, while maintaining strong customer relationships and promoting a culture of safety.
Responsibilities:
Supervise all commercial fuel deliveries and ensure the delivery process runs smoothly.
Lead and manage a team of fuel drivers and dispatchers, including hiring, training, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.
Facilitate regular safety inspections and safety meetings.
Ensures the facility and its employees are complying with all safety procedures set by the company.
Schedule repairs and maintenance for fleet of fuel trucks and tankers.
Maintain inventory of hoses, fittings, safety gear and other PPE, and place orders as necessary.
Complete administrative reporting and month end closing procedures.
Provide exceptional customer service through direct communication and site visits.
All other duties as required.
Requirements:
Previous industry experience in fuel delivery, logistics, or operations management is highly desirable.
Experience working with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Experience using JDE software is an asset.
Experience using PowerBI is an asset.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with staff and customers.
Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
Must have a valid driver's license and work after hours when required.
