We are looking for a hands-on

Operations Supervisor

to oversee day-to-day shop and operational activities. This role is critical to ensuring employees are productive, tasks are completed correctly and on time, and inventory and operational processes are well organized and up to date.


The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable working on the floor, supporting employees, and keeping operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily operations and ensure all employees are productive and performing their assigned duties. Monitor workloads and priorities to keep work flowing efficiently. Track and maintain accurate inventory levels (materials, parts, and supplies). Coordinate with purchasing, production, and management to avoid shortages or delays. Ensure company procedures, safety rules, and quality standards are followed. Address day-to-day operational issues and resolve problems quickly. Support scheduling, workflow planning, and basic reporting. Assist with training and onboarding of new employees.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience as a supervisor, team lead, or operations coordinator. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to hold people accountable in a fair and respectful way. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Basic computer skills (inventory systems, spreadsheets). Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial experience is an asset.
