Ocean Contractors Limited has been in the asphalt and ready-mix concrete business since 1974. We pride ourselves on having 'Built on Quality' products, services and employees. Ocean is currently seeking applications for a Concrete Operations Supervisor to join our team.

As the Concrete Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the Ready-Mix operation at Ocean Contractors Limited, but not limited to the following duties:

- Supervise day to day ready-mix operations

- Over see material requirements to produce product

- Confirm proper portion of materials are ordered and maintained

- Forecasting and planning present and future plant maintenance

- Supervision of dispatch operations

- Dealing with high level customer issues or concerns

- Dealing with escalated employee issues or concerns

- Over seeing and participating in our QC program

- Direct communication with our engineering department

- Forecasting equipment needs/upgrades

- Forecasting training and staffing needs

- Overseeing the completion of all plant maintenance of 2 concrete plants

- Ensure both concrete plants are kept tidy inside and out

- Ensure Ocean Contractors Limited safety policies are followed

- Keep running list of mixer truck weights

- Ensure Ready Mix trucks are kept clean

- Ensure Ready Mix trucks are kept operational, communicating with maintenance shop
