Operations Supervisor

Monday to Thursday (6:00am to 4:30pm)

YOUR ROLE

: A DC Supervisor is responsible for leading and coaching a group of hourly associates in the processing and distribution of merchandise through a state-of-the-art, high-technology distribution center in a cost effective, safe and customer service oriented manner for seamless fulfillment to our customers. As well, support the transition to "omni-channel" fulfillment processing.

AUTHORITY:

Decisions regarding flow of product throughout the facility Recommend hiring decisions at hourly levels Development, coaching and counseling of employees as required for performance or attendance issues

QUALIFICATIONS:

The individual should also be strategic, innovative, logical, objective, a people developer, a relationship builder, and a team player Diploma in Business Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent, preferred 3-4 years previous leadership/management experience in a warehouse/distribution/retail environment or equivalent; .com and/or "Omni-channel" retailing experience, preferred Understanding of WMS and/ or experience in a RF environment High degree of proficiency Google Suite, & Internet applications Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical skills, interpersonal skills and planning skills Excellent problem solving ability, high sense of urgency Must have the ability to act independently and ability to work collaboratively within a team Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
