Operations Supervisor/ Manufacturing Leader ( Afternoon /night Shifts)

Span of Management




Within this role, you will lead a manufacturing team on your specified shift, ensuring the safe and smooth operation of your assigned team. Through positive motivation, you will ensure your zone meets daily production targets and key performance indicators while complying with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. This position has direct report Team Leaders and is responsible for a group of around 30-50 associates.

Key Responsibilities




Manage and lead daily operations. Shift preparation, production schedule review, manpower control, lead shift start meetings, and set daily targets and expectations. Throughout the shift, monitor plan vs actual and adjust as needed to stay on track. Take a strong leadership position on Safety and Quality. Responsible for employee coaching, behavior, and development. Collaborate with various support groups such as Quality, Production Planning, Equipment Engineering, and Maintenance. Complete daily reporting and ensure the team is striving towards achieving and improving. Actively pursue continuous improvement and help strengthen our operation.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION




3+ years of proven leadership experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry, over seeing a similar size and scope of responsibilities. Must have a good understanding of and be comfortable around automation equipment, molding machines, final assembly, and be hands on to help solve problems, reset equipment, and keep us running. Excellent communication and organization skills with proven ability to motivate a team. Be proficient in Microsoft Office. (Excel, PPT, word) and be familiar with ERP type inventory and planning systems. (such as visual)
