We are looking for someone with strong customer service skills and the ability to liaise and effectively communicate with all customers and associates. afternoon shift 11:30AM to 7:30PM Monday to Friday.



The Operations Supervisor will manage and motivate Commercial Drivers, fencers, and yard employees to deliver superior customer service and ensuring compliance to all corporate and regulatory guidelines, codes, and legislation. They will ensure that appropriate training is provided to all drivers in all aspects of safety and operational procedures. The

Operations Supervisor will also ensure that all employees have access to appropriate tools and equipment to uphold a positive corporate image for its reputation and service excellence. He or she will work with all Drivers to ensure service is provided in a productive and efficient manner.

What you will do:



Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple routes. Performs operational audits of collections routes and observation routes. Ensure that Drivers required to operate company vehicles or equipment are completing daily safety and maintenance checks. Coordinates with Dispatcher to ensure deliveries, exchanges and repairs are completed in a timely manner. Performs Interviewing, selection and training of potential new hires. Performance Management of employees through the progressive discipline process. Conducts incident investigations including scene management, first incident report and final analysis with root cause and preventative measures. Maintains Environmental Health and Safety programs including training, meetings and required reporting of relevant EH&S issues. Maintaining adherence to company safety policies and DOT regulations.

What we require of you:



Proven track record of strong leadership and engagement skills is a must Minimum 3-5 years' management and/or supervisory experience Past experience providing superb customer service preferably in the transportation, distribution or courier industry Attention to Detail is a must

Must hold a valid and clean Class 5 license*
Understanding of fleet operations and customer delivery Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Must have a safety and compliance mind set Work as a team player Direct people management experience is a must.
Preference will be given to those with a valid Class 3 or 1 license. Front End driver experience would be a valuable asset.
