Hours of Work: Thursday through Monday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Location: Downtown Vancouver Wages: $21 per hour, plus commission We call this Supervisory role our Hop-On, Hop-Off Controller because they supervise onsite, support and monitor the day-to-day delivery of our Hop-on Hop-Off tour route operations. You are good at working with people and prefer working outdoors on your feet, not at a desk! You are a superstar multi-tasker - and we can\xe2\x80\x99t wait to meet you! YOUR WORK WILL INCLUDE

• Working with our Operations office, coordinating and helping with the day-to-day operations of our Hop-On, Hop-Off Sightseeing tour, Drivers and Step-On Guides from our Downtown Vancouver office
• Working onsite at Canada Place during the mornings to support the flow of operations, Drivers, Step-On Guides and Guests for an on time tour performance
• Monitoring radio, telephone, and on-road provision of service for a quality tour experience
• Organizing and maintaining daily bus utilization, assigned Drivers, Step-On Guides and passenger counts
• Professionally communicating operational deficiencies with drivers, call centre, sales team, and managers as appropriate
• Completing a daily report of activity, efficiencies, and issues

• You are a quick-thinking problem solver who reacts appropriately to unexpected changes
• You are calm, patient, adaptable, and can work with multiple, diverse people
• Likes to work in the field, on your feet, and not behind a desk
• You are very organized and detail-oriented approach, thriving under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• You work equally well individually and as part of a team
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal, email, text, and radio) \xe2\x80\x93 another bonus is a few different languages
• Flexible schedule and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Prior customer service, dispatch, or supervisory experience is an asset

• Prior experience at a sightseeing company is a big bonus
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong knowledge of Downtown Vancouver and surrounding areas
