The Opportunity

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a dedicated

Operations Supervisor

to join our team in

Coquitlam, British Columbia

. As the Operations Supervisor you will oversee the daily activities within the Operator Training Department, ensuring that all workflows align with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Operations Supervisor your key responsibilities will include:


Overseeing the responsibilities of the operations team Supervising, training, and evaluating the performance of assigned employees Assisting with hiring admin team members Designing and implementing departmental policies, procedures, and objectives Evaluating and reporting on department metrics, and developing strategies to improve department performance Adhering to and executing departmental budgets Overseeing inventory needs and administration Supporting continuous improvement projects Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:


1-2 years of related operations work experience A post-secondary education in business, operations management, or a related field Proficiency with MS Office Suite Outstanding organizational skills and coordination abilities Excellent time management skills Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

The base pay range for this role is: $69,200 to $86,500 per year, depending on experience, plus bonuses.
