Operations Specialist (Fall Term Post-Secondary Student Work Experience Opportunity)

We rescue imperfect and surplus produce to help our customers fight food waste and save money. About the role



We are looking for an ambitious, detail-oriented team player to join our warehouse, customer service and logistics operations team. You will work alongside our small but mighty team and support our order fulfillment operations. During your work experience you will get the chance to experience multiple areas within our warehouse fulfillment operations.

About You



We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and can-do mentality that excels at working in both a team and independent setting. Strong attention to detail is a must to succeed in this position. Having an interest in eating healthy and sustainability would make you a perfect fit for the team.

Requirements



Great communication skills Great attention to detail is a must Experience in working with produce and fresh foods is an asset Able to be physically active for long hours lifting 10 to 50lbs Experience in working in logistics / warehouse / packing / fulfillment is an asset Must be registered as a domestic student in a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution. Must provide proof of fall semester enrolment. Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or persons to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

Coop Details



Pay: $18 per hour Hours: 2 or 3 days per week Working hours: Tuesday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. (hours can vary based on scheduling and operations planning) Contract length: 16 Weeks Expected start date: ASAP
