We are looking for an Operations Service Representative 2, Lending, so if you\xe2\x80\x99re passionate about improving people\xe2\x80\x99s financial health and have proven experience with personal lending and advanced knowledge of lending policies and products, we\xe2\x80\x99d like to hear from you. What\xe2\x80\x99s the role? As an Operations Service Representative 2, Lending, under general supervision, you are responsible for the centralized processing of all loans, mortgages and lines of credit facilities. Coastal Community Credit Union strives \xe2\x80\x9cto be the leaders in building relationships that improve financial health, enrich people\xe2\x80\x99s lives and build healthier communities.\xe2\x80\x9d It is your responsibility as Operations Service Representative to carry the mission statement forward in order to build, maintain, attract and expand the member\xe2\x80\x99s relationship with the credit union. As an Operations Service Representative you provide friendly, professional service in an efficient, financially responsible manner. Your duties will include:

  • Disburse loans and mortgages, audit loan files for completeness and accuracy, and advise manager of deficiencies.
  • Obtain and disperse information to and from outside sources, (e.g., lawyer\xe2\x80\x99s payout statements) on a timely basis.
  • Obsolete mortgages, loans, LOC\xe2\x80\x99s and security releases including closing of files, completing the discharge and rebating insurance if applicable.
  • Answer telephone inquiries and perform a variety of general loan administration functions including report maintenance and production.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
What are we looking for?
  • 1-3 years financial experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of lending policies and products;
  • Working knowledge of CCCU\xe2\x80\x99s loans origination system;
  • Prior loans admin or lending experience is preferred;
  • Successfully completed CUIC 210, as well as either CUIC 185 and/or CUIC 200 and be actively pursuing the CUIC Fellow Designation;
  • Above average MSR/OSR demonstrated skills are required.
Ideally, you are a flexible, collaborative team player with:
  • Working knowledge of Coastal Community Credit Union products and services is required, as well as a working knowledge of the banking system, administration procedures related to the processing of loans, mortgages and LOC\xe2\x80\x99s.
  • Keyboarding skills of 40 wpm and computer terminology are required, in addition to proficiency with Windows products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel applications.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate in a clear, concise manner is required to transfer information and understanding to members.
  • Effective listening skills to and engage members/team members in conversation to understand and identify their needs to provide resolution through sourcing information and matching an appropriate product/service/support; as well as provide a referral to the appropriate individual to complete the request if required.
  • In addition, the incumbent must be a strong team player who prioritizes and exhibits initiative to assist in the completion of projects and work within specific time constraints in a high paced environment.

The wage ranges provided are based on the Union collective agreement. Full Time annual salary range based on 35 hour work week.
