Position Summary: The Operations Professional will report to the Operations Superintendent and is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the facility. The Facility Operator is responsible for maintaining and updating Safe Job Procedures (SJP\xe2\x80\x99s) as they pertain to the process. The Operations Professional position will be responsible and accountable for: all materials that can and cannot be accepted at the facility, maintain and operate a safe, clean and friendly work environment for both internal and external clients, assisting clients with logistics, and creating client specific solutions as needed. Regular maintenance and equipment upkeep will be the operator\xe2\x80\x99s responsibility as well as scheduling 3rd party contractors as needed. The Operator will also be responsible for day to day administrative duties including ticket filing and plant balancing. All incoming and outgoing fluids will be tracked and logged accurately as per facilities procedures. The position is working at a remote site with a shift schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off. Operator must have reliable transportation to and from the facility, which is located in-between Fort St. John and Dawson Creek, BC. Preference will be given to a candidate local to the area. Responsibilities: - Work Safely
- Know, understand and follow the Standard Operating Procedures of the company. From time to time, you will also help develop and make changes to the current Standard Operating procedures for the facility
- Understand the Regulatory and Operating Approvals as they pertain to our facility including well classification and materials that can and cannot be accepted at the facility
- Communicate with field sales and help develop and maintain client relations at the facility level
- Operate and maintain the facility as per SJP/SOP\xe2\x80\x99s and maintenance schedule, you will have the ability to schedule 3rd party contractors as required and as managers direction
- Possess the ability to issue Safe Work Permits as required for 3rd party contractors
- Hazard ID and Incident identification and reporting
- Track and log all incoming and outgoing fluid with Catapult software applications in accordance to the facility licenses and approvals
- Maintain and operate a safe, clean and friendly work environment for both internal and external clients
- Know, understand and follow the ERP, operate in a safe manner as per the Health and Safety Manual and understand Environmental and Regulatory compliance and insure the facility operates within compliance
- Building and personally demonstrating high performance team culture across Catapult;
- Upholding, through personal actions, Catapult\xe2\x80\x99s values Qualifications: Technical: - Exceptional client service focus
- Grade 12 education or equivalent required
- Must possess a mechanical background
- Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and email
- Valid First Aid and H2S certification
- Tank farm and well operational experience would be considered an asset Interpersonal: - Self-motivated and the ability to function and excel with limited supervision and in a team environment;
