  • Scope of Project: Day to day support
  • Team Size/Culture: 10 - 15 team members
  • Training Period: Training:100% onsite training for 2 weeks, 5 days in office
  • Selling Points of Position (CVP): Exposure to Commercial Banking operations, completion of annual commercial credit reviews across a wide range of industries, financial statements, lending policies and procedures and risk rating assessment.
Candidate profile details:
  • Degree/Level of Education: Minimum post-secondary degree in Commerce or Business Administration or equivalent credit experience.
  • Certifications Required: N/A
  • Years of Overall Experience: 2-4 years
  • How will performance be measured: Performance against daily productivity targets, and accuracy in the work completed.
  • Preferred/Ideal Candidate Background: Focused, results and goal oriented, keen attention to detail, can work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team, ability to work in a high volume and high pressure environment while maintaining high work quality, positive team player
Summary of the role:
  • Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities Responsible for underwriting annual credit reviews of targeted Commercial Banking borrowers. Duties include but are not limited to:
o How much time is being spent in meetings 20%
o Who are they interacting with (internal/external) Yes internal
o Will the contractor have access to any customer data? YES!
Must-Have Hard Skills:
  • Bilingual fluent in reading and writing
  • Ability to read and understand financial statements
  • MS Office experience
  • High attention to detail
Nice-To-Have:
  • Finance and Accounting background preferred
  • Banking exp
Department Overview:
  • The Commercial Credit Centre partners with Commercial Banking Centres across Canada to complete annual credit reviews of Commercial Banking borrowers.
Job Requirements:
  • Keen attention to detail and high degree of data input accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task many files at a given time
  • Experience in communicating with internal partners in a clear and concise manner
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Problem solving and critical thinking ability, often regarding a company's financial statements
