Job Summary:

Bresara Window Cleaning Ltd.

seeks a driven and detail-oriented

Operations Manager

to oversee the day-to-day field operations of our commercial and residential window cleaning company. This role includes team management, client relations, quoting new projects, hiring and evaluating staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality service. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety, efficiency, and a positive company culture. The position reports directly to the owner & general manager and works closely with the office manager to ensure overall operational efficiency and customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Field Oversight:

Supervise and support window cleaning crews to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work. Hire, onboard, train, coach, and evaluate field technicians to meet performance and safety standards. Monitor and enforce job site safety and compliance with Manitoba Health & Safety Legislation and company protocols. Conduct staff performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Client Relations & Quoting:

Attend client meetings, walk-throughs, and site visits to assess service needs. Prepare accurate quotes and proposals for new and existing clients. Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Represent Bresara at industry events and trade shows
Quality Control & Problem Solving:

Perform job site inspections and audits to maintain service standards. Resolve service issues quickly and professionally, acting as the liaison between crews and clients. Implement operational improvements to increase job efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Logistics & Equipment Oversight:

Oversee vehicle fleet, including maintenance and usage tracking. Manage equipment & supplies budgeting, purchase and maintenance to ensure crews have the necessary tools for the job. With the office manager, organize access and equipment for high-rise and specialty projects.
Reporting & Communication:

Provide regular reports to the General Manager on crew performance, operations budget, job progress, and client feedback. Collaborate with the office team to align field operations with business goals.

Foster and contribute to a positive and collaborative company culture. Encourage open communication, teamwork, and employee engagement. Promote a safe and inclusive work environment where all staff feel valued.
Job Requirements:

Monday-Friday in person work including at office and on job sites in and around Winnipeg Some weekend supervision work (1-2 times per month during busy season) Out-of-town travel a few times a year to communities in Manitoba and Western Ontario

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in operations or field management (window cleaning, janitorial, landscaping, or related service industries preferred) Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Working knowledge of Government of Manitoba Health & Safety regulations and job site safety procedures Valid driver's license and clean driving record Must be able to pass a police check and vulnerable sector check to meet client requirements Industry experience in commercial or residential window cleaning Ability to manage multiple crews and projects simultaneously Experience using job scheduling software, microsoft excel, word and office email Strong basic math skills including ability to efficiently and accurately count, add, subtract, multiply and divide Comfortable meeting clients on site and representing the company professionally
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous training in working-at-heights, lift operation, bosun chair and rope access Previous experience with job estimation and quoting An existing network in property management, building operations, and construction sectors Experience managing equipment and supply budgets Proven experience with quoting or estimating commercial service jobs Experience with hiring, onboarding, and staff performance management

Compensation & Benefits:
