Overview


We are seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to oversee manufacturing operations and ensure the efficient, safe, and quality-driven production of goods. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, and expertise in supply chain management. This role offers an opportunity to lead continuous improvement initiatives, optimize production workflows, and implement best practices within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities



Lead and coordinate daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets and quality standards. Develop, implement, and monitor process improvement strategies utilizing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Manage production schedules using ERP systems such as SAP and MRP to ensure timely delivery of products. Oversee inventory control, supply chain logistics, and procurement activities to optimize resource utilization. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all staff. Collaborate with quality control teams to uphold product quality and address any issues promptly. Supervise, train, and evaluate production staff; foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional growth. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance activities. Drive initiatives related to process optimization, waste reduction, and efficiency improvements across manufacturing operations. Prepare reports on production performance metrics and recommend strategic adjustments as needed.

Requirements



Proven experience in manufacturing management or production supervision within a similar industry. Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or other enterprise resource planning platforms; familiarity with MRP systems is essential. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Demonstrated expertise in process improvement techniques including lean manufacturing and continuous improvement strategies. Understanding of supply chain management principles and inventory control processes. Experience in quality control procedures and assembly processes within a manufacturing setting. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage cross-functional teams effectively. Ability to analyze data, identify inefficiencies, and implement practical solutions for operational excellence. This position is integral to maintaining high standards of productivity, safety, and quality within our manufacturing operations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Pay: $12,000.00-$36,000.00 per year
