K1 Speed Canada is an international indoor electric go-karting entertainment company that has 4 locations in Canada and more than 100 tracks worldwide.

Position Overview



We are seeking an energetic, hands-on Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple of our K1 Speed Canada locations. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment and can inspire a team to deliver an exceptional guest experience every day.

This role is critical to ensuring operational excellence, safety compliance, staff development, and financial performance -- while embodying K1 Speed's passion for speed, service, and fun.

Key Responsibilities



Operational Leadership



Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including track management, customer service, food & beverage, and facility maintenance. Ensure operational standards, policies, and procedures are consistently met across all departments. Supervise scheduling, payroll, and performance for hourly and management staff. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to maximize profitability and guest satisfaction.

Team Management & Development



Assist in recruiting, training, and mentoring team members to uphold K1 Speed's culture of safety, hospitality, and high performance. Provide ongoing coaching and career development for supervisors and team leads. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and exceptional service.

Customer Experience



Ensure every guest enjoys a seamless, memorable racing experience -- from registration to podium. Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly to maintain satisfaction and loyalty. Oversee group events and corporate functions to guarantee successful execution and repeat business.

Safety & Compliance



Uphold the highest standards of safety for guests and employees. Conduct regular inspections and enforce compliance with all health, safety, and operational regulations.

Financial Accountability



Manage budgets, control expenses, and drive revenue through efficient operations. Collaborate with regional leadership on financial reporting and performance forecasting.

Qualifications



3-5 years of experience in operations or hospitality management (entertainment, FEC, restaurant, or retail experience preferred). Proven leadership experience with teams of 20+ employees. Strong business acumen and analytical skills; comfortable working with KPIs and budgets. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. Flexible schedule -- availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
